We celebrated Christmas a little early with my family! We all got together the Sunday night before Christmas for family fun and the annual gift exchange. (And just as a side note - please excuse all the red-eyes on these photos. Luckily, I had thrown my point-and-shoot camera into my purse, because when I got there, I realized I had left the battery to my regular camera at home!!)
There were presents galore for the kiddos!!
The night started out with food - of course! We had a wonderful ham and turkey dinner with all the fixins. I ate too much - as usual!
Then we had our first family nativity. It was so fun to see the kids getting into their parts.
And then time for presents! We have the kids draw names, which is so much more fun (and easier!) than doing families like we have in the past. Since Abbi is the youngest, she started us off. She got a Minnie Mouse stuffed animal and a Dora sticker book from Asher, and I don't think she could have received a better present!
The kids all took turns opening presents and there was so much excitement! I can't believe I managed to get a picture of each kid - there were always crowds around who was opening their present!
The night ended with a sugar rush and decorating of sugar cookies.
There's no better way to end a wonderful family Christmas party!
