Abbi has been wanting to play with the balloons from her birthday, and since they were mostly still flying strong, I cut them free for her today.  I don't know what it is about kids and balloons, but she was very happy to be able to carry those balloons around with her.  And naturally, she wanted to get her picture taken!!

Safety first!  Abbi thought that even Caroline needed to wear a seatbelt.  All of the carseats were being used, but Abbi found a way to keep her safe!

Sometimes I watch her, and I'm amazed. Amazed at how fast little brains learn.  Amazed at how well she does with learning, and with new things.  Amazed at the patience she has, and how she rarely gets frustrated when it comes to school work.  I don't remember how it felt to have to learn everything.  But kids are amazing - that roll with the punches so well.  I'm so proud of my smart girl.

Primary Bound!

Say it ain't so!!  I can't believe my little guy is big enough for primary.  Today was the big day, and we had been talking it up all week long.  Unfortunately, it didn't go as well as planned and he wouldn't go to sharing time.  So instead, he went to class with me.  It's surprising, because he was my easiest with the transition to nursery.  We'll try again next week!
