Anniversary Celebrations

So, I started a different blog for a photo project I am doing, but thought I would start a blog for Josh & I as well. Not a whole lot to tell, but I'll do my best!!

We celebrated our 1st anniversary last weekend. Our anniversary was actually the weekend before, but I had tickets to "Sweet Charity" at the Capitol Theater, so we decided to make a whole night of it. I got a room at the Hilton (on priceline, of course!!), so we went up on Saturday afternoon. After checking in at the hotel, we got dressed up and went to dinner at Spencer's. It was the first time either of us had been there, and the food was great. Josh was a little upset, though. When the waiter was going through the menu, he said that most of the side dishes would feed 2-3 people, so we could order a half order if we wanted to. Well, since we never order a half order of anything, we decided to go with the asparagus. When our food came out, we were surprised to find that the side dish only had 7 spears of asparagus. Not really a serving for 3 in either of our opinions (especially for $7.50!!) Besides the asparagus, the meal was great. After we ate, we headed over to the theater. The show was good, but had a sad ending. Molly Ringwald was starring as Charity, so I thought that was kind of cool. We had the cheapest seats I could get, but the show wasn't sold out so we ended up moving even further up at intermission. It was a good move, though, because no one was in front of us and I didn't have to fight looking over the person's head in front of me. Plus, it gave Josh room to stretch his knee which was much needed. The next morning, we slept in until about 9:30, which was nice, and headed back home around noon to normal life!
