Bike Riding
A few days ago, my mom came home with 2 bikes. They are "house" bikes - meaning they aren't just for Abbi and Easton, but for all of the grandkids, but you would think it was Christmas for them!!
I made them wait until we had helmets, and they were so excited to get out and ride. I took them out earlier in the day (and took photos and after realized that I didn't have a card in my camera), but I quickly realized that my kids had no idea how to ride a bike. It was too hard to help them while holding Camden, so we had to wait until Josh got home that night to help them.
Abbi actually caught on very quickly! I think we have a couple bike lovers on our hands and may need to get them their own bikes for Christmas!

First Day of Pre-School
I can't believe my little girl has started pre-school!
Abbi has been so excited for school for a long time now. Practically ever since she could talk, she has been talking about going to school. She was so excited that the day had actually come!
She was such a trooper - she went straight into her class without hardly a look back. She's going to be such a great student!

Memorial Day 2013
It's the unofficial start of summer!!
Going into the holiday weekend, we didn't really have any plans, but it still ended up great.
On Memorial Day, we started the day off by going to the gym. I haven't had a gym pass since Abbi was born, but it's been too hard to workout at home with the 3 kids. I finally got frustrated and signed up for a membership - complete with daycare. And since Josh was off, we all went to the gym.
After we finished, we decided to stop at the grocery store for a few things since it was on the way home. When we were in line to check out, Josh said that he didn't bring his wallet. I had him run out to the car for the diaper bag, thinking that my wallet was in there. The checker was super nice to wait, and the people behind us were super nice, too.
When he ran back inside, I realized my wallet was in my camera bag at home, not in the diaper bag. I apologized to the checker, and she said she'd just suspend it and we could come back for it. But the lady behind us jumped in and said that she would just pay for our groceries.
All $38 worth of groceries.
I tried to stop her, telling her that was way too much. But she insisted and just told us to pay it forward. I was seriously in disbelief. I have never had that happen before, and I will probably never forget it.
There still is good all around us!!
That evening, we headed up Diamond Fork Canyon for a little weenie roast with Tami, Charlie and Janell and their families. It was good to be up in the mountains. I don't know why we don't take advantage of it more often.
Abbi and Easton loved playing with their cousins, and Camden was as good as ever.
The hot dogs were delicious, as well. I love a good hot dog cooked over an open fire!!
We left after dinner since Josh had to work in the morning and I still had work to do, but it sure was fun. I'm going to make it a goal to do it more this summer!

Angel Baby
I have started calling Camden my angel baby. This boy seriously is the best baby. Ever. I think that Heavenly Father must have known that I couldn't take a whole lot right now, and he sent me the best baby. I consider myself lucky every single day. He is almost always happy, he's a great sleeper, and he loves to laugh. He makes his mama so happy!

His Knees
Someone please save me. My little boy is trying to grow up too fast. He is already getting his knees up underneath him.
I am so not ready for this!

First Park Day of 2013
Nice weather calls for some time at the park, right?
Janell had called, saying that they were going to have a picnic at the park since it was spring break and the first day of the week that had even been nice enough to spend some time at the park. We had been out running errands all morning, and I wasn't feeling all that great, but we knew we wanted some sunshine and fresh air.
Everyone else in the neighborhood felt the same way, so it was pretty packed, but the kids were excited to be there.
The thing Abbi wanted to do most of all was swing. She got quite upset when there were constantly other kids on the swings, but finally, one opened up and she didn't want to leave!
Easton is totally growing up and just was happy to wander around by himself checking everything (and everyone) out.
Eventually, Abbi moved over to one of the baby swings. (I can't believe she fit in there!!)
And there she stayed until it was time to go home!
I tried to give Easton a turn, but he wasn't into the whole swing thing. Either that or he was just tired because it was nap time.
I forsee lots of park days in our near future!!

Easter 2013
Another Easter! It kind of snuck up on me this year since it's not even April yet!
It was a great day, starting off with a visit from the Easter bunny. The kid's baskets were filled, and they each got a new Easter outfit.
Easton was up first (as usual) and wasn't very happy (as usual).
But as soon as he saw his Easter basket - specifically the monster truck - he cheered right up!!
And even though Camden didn't know what was going on, he still was as happy as normal.
Pretty soon, Abbi was up, and was excited to see what the Easter bunny left her. And of course, she was the most excited about her new mini Lalaloopsy!
We went to church and had a great meeting, although it wasn't an Easter program like I had hoped it would be. But it was still good, so I guess that's all that matters, right?
When we got home, I tried to get a picture of the kids in their Easter clothes before they changed. I wasn't very successful, although it was more successful than last year!!
That evening, we headed down to Tami's for food, fun, and Easter egg hunting.
The eggs were hidden all over the yard for the kids.
And I had a little grumpy one. :)
But he cheered up once he was able to start finding some eggs.
It was a great time as usual, and we can't wait to do it again next year!
