Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without multiple gingerbread houses, right?
We were so happy when Tami invited everyone over for dinner and to decorate gingerbread houses. Of course, I'll take any excuse to get together with my family - especially when it involved candy!!
Abbi of course had lots of fun and ended up covered in icing. I think she gets the prize for the most icing used on a house!
Easton didn't make a house, but he had fun sitting next to his cousins, eating candy. He sure does love Brooklyn!!
It was a fun night with some great gingerbread houses!

Visit with Santa
Christmas wouldn't be complete without a visit to Santa to tell him what you want, right?
In our past ward, they didn't have Santa come in at the ward Christmas party. Luckily, this ward does! (In fact, it's the main reason we went.) I took the kids and we had fun making Christmas ornaments, doing the cake walk, (Abbi won some cupcakes) and then getting to visit Santa.
Easton wasn't too keen on him, but Abbi was super excited and told him that she wanted some fairy dolls for Christmas. Hopefully Santa took notes!!
Abbi's First Haircut
I have been putting off cutting Abbi's hair for a very long time. For almost 4 years, to be exact! I always have this fear that if her hair is cut, we'll lose the curls, but as long as it's not cut, I won't have to worry about the curls being gone. I know it's silly!!
But the time came. Her hair was so long, and getting a bit straggly. So I made her appointment. She was so excited to be the one getting a haircut finally.
Several inches were cut off, and luckily, the curls are definitely still there. And her hair was so long that you probably wouldn't have even noticed that she had a haircut, even though several inches were cut off.
What a beautiful girl!!
Camden 1 Month
My big boy is one month old!!
Can someone please stop the clock? I feel like time is flying by especially fast. Maybe because I know that this will be my last baby and I'm wanting to treasure every moment with my little guy.
At one month, Camden is taking after his brother and sister and growing like a weed. He was almost a pound heavier than his birth weight at his 2 week check up, weighing in at 9 lbs. 10 oz. At least I know he's a good eater!!
He is somewhere between his sister and his brother. Abbi always wanted to be held, and Easton was easy going and you could put him down and he'd be happy. Camden is a good sleeper and you can put him down easily, but if he is awake, he definitely wants to be held.
Also taking after his siblings, he is a noisy baby. He loves to grunt, and loves to coo, especially while he is eating.
Camden looks quite angry in most of these photos, but he seems to be a pretty happy baby. Especially when he is being held!!
He is a great eater and is on a good schedule. We go 3 hours during the day, and at night, he will go between 4 and 5 hours usually. I'm really hoping he will be sleeping through the night by 3 months!
I think he looks so much like Easton, and I'm so loving getting to know this little guy. I just wish I could get time to stand still!

Temple Square 2012
One of my favorite parts of the Christmas season is going up to Temple Square to see the lights. It's magical and awe-inspiring and really helps to put you in the Christmas spirit.
This year did not disappoint. It was actually not totally freezing cold, and when we first got there, there weren't a ton of people. (Although it definitely did pick up!) Camden wanted to be held the entire time, so I didn't really get to take a ton of photos, but it was still great!
Decorating the Tree
My mom kept putting off decorating the Christmas tree, so I told her that the kids and I would decorate it during the day. She gladly turned over the responsibility, but I didn't realize what a task it would be!!
I had a newborn and a son that wanted to take off more ornaments than he wanted to put on. We really tried, and managed to get enough ornaments up, but definitely not all of them!!
But we still had fun! (and ignore my dirty faced son and the fact that I only got one picture with Abbi in it!)
