First Day of Spring
You've got to love Utah. Just when I started getting excited for spring, I wake up to this. The sad thing is that I'm sure this isn't the last of it!

Birthday Time! {Easton's Birthday Part 2}
After the zoo, we headed home for naps. That night, we had pizza for dinner, (Easton loved it!), and of course, cake for the birthday boy. I'm so embarrassed - I actually made him a cake, but it was such a total flop that I had Josh go to the grocery store to buy a cake so Easton would at least be able to dig into a piece of cake. I didn't even take a picture of my cake - it was sooo bad!
After dinner and cake, Easton got to open his gifts. Actually, Abbi got to open Easton's gifts! She was gung ho, and didn't really let him help much. But since he didn't really know any better, we just went with it. He got spoiled with a gift from mom and dad (a drum), a gift from Abbi (a talking Grover phone), and all kinds of fun stuff from nanas and gump gump (clothes, a golf set, and a baseball set).
What a fun day.

Happy Birthday Easton!!
At the Zoo {Easton's Birthday Part 1}
Look who is 1 year old!!
We debated and debated about what to do for Easton's birthday. Our house is too small and too far away to invite all the family over for a party, and really, he's so young still that he doesn't even know what's going on. So we decided to keep it simple, (maybe a big party next year??) with a trip to the zoo.
We went bright and early, arriving shortly after the zoo opened. It was a chilly morning, but not as bad as I was afraid it was going to be. We had such a fun time!! Easton ended up falling asleep before we were done, and Abbi's favorite part was definitely the merry-go-round. In fact, she was disappointed that there weren't more rides. (I think she was expecting DisneyLand!) The only downfall was that we didn't get to see the giraffes. But overall, it was a really fun day, and I can't wait to go back again!
Warning - very picture heavy!!
