Another Easter! It kind of snuck up on me this year since it's not even April yet!
It was a great day, starting off with a visit from the Easter bunny. The kid's baskets were filled, and they each got a new Easter outfit.
Easton was up first (as usual) and wasn't very happy (as usual).
But as soon as he saw his Easter basket - specifically the monster truck - he cheered right up!!
And even though Camden didn't know what was going on, he still was as happy as normal.
Pretty soon, Abbi was up, and was excited to see what the Easter bunny left her. And of course, she was the most excited about her new mini Lalaloopsy!
We went to church and had a great meeting, although it wasn't an Easter program like I had hoped it would be. But it was still good, so I guess that's all that matters, right?
When we got home, I tried to get a picture of the kids in their Easter clothes before they changed. I wasn't very successful, although it was more successful than last year!!
That evening, we headed down to Tami's for food, fun, and Easter egg hunting.
The eggs were hidden all over the yard for the kids.
And I had a little grumpy one. :)
But he cheered up once he was able to start finding some eggs.
It was a great time as usual, and we can't wait to do it again next year!

Coloring the Eggs
After the egg hunt, we headed back home to color Easter eggs. The kids were super excited!!
Both kids wanted to just start putting eggs in the colors and didn't want to wait for help from mom or dad. I think we only had one or two cracked eggs! ;)
And how I love this boy. He was just as happy as can be to sit and watch everything going on!!
Our Easter egg coloring soon turned into "let's see how many colors we can get onto each egg." It did make for some interesting looking eggs, though!!
The whole time, Abbi kept asking when she could put stickers on the eggs, and I told her that she had to wait until they were dry. So they were excited later that afternoon when I got the eggs back out so that they could draw on them and put stickers on them. (Ignore that Easton has no clothes on and that Abbi had changed clothes and has stickers stuck in her hair. :) )
It's always a highlight for the kids to color eggs, and they had fun again this year!!
Easter Egg Hunt
I love that the kids are getting older and that we can participate in more things. My mom told me that Spanish Fork has an Easter Egg hunt for the kids, and we were all excited to go!
It was at the baseball parks, so we all walked over, the kids with their Easter baskets in tow.
And Camden just enjoyed riding along in the stroller. :)
When we got over there, we discovered that they had different age groups on different fields. So I went with Abbi and Josh took Easton. (So no pictures of Easton finding eggs, although I couldn't really get any of Abbi, either!! I don't know what families with only one parent do!)
It was a bit chaotic, but when the buzzer went off, Abbi took off running. I lost her for a minute because they told the parents not to go onto the field, but then parents started swarming the field and I was stuck behind a bunch of people with the stroller.
But Abbi found some eggs, and also found some of her cousins!!
We opened up the eggs and scored a few good things - 2 coupons for free birthday parties, some free fries, and Abbi was excited that she won a candy bar. It was over quickly, but the kids loved it!!
