At a Glance {04/27/2014}
I cherish these moments when they play well together. Abbi is becoming such a great big sister and is almost always willing to help and to share. It makes my heart happy!! (And in typical Abbi fashion, you have to love her hair!!)

Tulip Festival 2014
It's time for the annual Tulip Festival!!
I love visiting the Tulip Festival, and it was so good this year. In fact, I think this is the best one that I have been to. The flowers were almost all in bloom, and the weather was perfect. It was a great afternoon!!
The kids we actually really good. I think this was the easiest "outing" that we have had to date. I think it was the promise of donuts and popcorn at the end!!

At a Glance {04/24/2014}
My boys...
We are going through a phase. Or at least I hope it's a phase. Because it's a phase in which neither of the boys want to sleep. Getting Camden to sleep isn't usually a problem, but he's been waking up at 9 or 10 every night and not going back to sleep. I've spent many a night now driving the freeway, because that's the only way I can get him to go down. If I get him to fall asleep while holding him, he somehow senses when I go to put him down and will wake up and scream. Somehow, driving puts him to sleep deep enough that I can take him to his bed and he stays asleep. I'm hoping he passes this quickly, because I don't want to spend every night in the car driving!!
Easton is a whole different story. I think he has jealousy issues with Camden, and doesn't like that I sit with him to get him ready for bed. So Easton will wait until I have put Camden down, and then he won't stay in bed unless I go in and lay with him in bed until he falls asleep. He's in a toddler bed, so needless to say, it's not very fun for me. He was waking up multiple times a night, but at least he's been sleeping through the nigh for the last week or so.
Praying that this "phase" passes soon!!

This kid has something with being buried in pillows. Whenever he is somewhere with pillows, he always crawls under them. It cracks me up to walk into my room to see him hiding in a sea of pillows!!

Easter 2014
Another Easter has come and gone. It was a beautiful Spring day, a perfect day for Easter.
We started the morning with Easter baskets that the Easter bunny brought for the kids. Abbi and Camden were up first, and Easton woke up shortly after. They each stuffed their faces with candy - it was a good morning!!
After church, we headed to Tami's house for the annual Mitchell Easter Egg Hunt and Easter dinner. The kids had fun hunting eggs and playing with their cousins, and of course, I ate too much of the delicious food.
It was another successful Easter!
