Easter 2012

What a great Easter!! Holidays are getting more and more fun as the kids get older. We talked about the true meaning of Easter several times with Abbi, but I think she's still too young to really grasp the concept. Instead, she was really excited about the eggs and the candy! Oh well,we'll keep trying, right?? The morning started off with a visit from the Easter bunny. A little bit of candy, a new Easter outfit for each of the kids, and an Easter book for each of them.

This is what happens when I try to get a picture of the 2 of them together. Yeah, not so much. We were already late for church, so we only had a couple of minutes, and this is the best I could do!

That afternoon, it was off to Tami's house for the annual Easter dinner and Easter egg hunt.  She had so many great decorations - I didn't even do one single decoration at our house this year!

The eggs were hidden - almost 100 of them!!

Easton was just happy to be outside.  He LOVES to be outside!

And....they're off!

Easton seriously just stayed in this spot and went up and down between the patio and the grass.  I think he was just practicing his stair stepping, because now all he wants to do is climb up stairs.  (He still hasn't figured out how to get down them, though...)

(One of my favorite pictures.  Love how it turned out!)

Can't wait to do it again next year!!
